The Atlas Standard

How we research, classify, structure, and update every article in AstroSafari Atlas.

Factual accuracy & source hierarchy

We prefer factory service information, manufacturer documentation, government and regulatory sources, and recognized technical standards. Community reports are welcomed but clearly labelled.

Evidence classification

Every article surfaces an evidence label — Regulatory, Manufacturer, Field Guide, Community Tested, or Planned Content — so you know how much weight to give a claim.

Model / year / drivetrain applicability

First-generation vs second-generation Astro/Safari, 2WD vs AWD, and engine variant matter. Every article states what it applies to before it tells you what to do.

Connected knowledge graph

Diagnostics link to components, wiring, parts, procedures, related codes, community cases, and safety notes so the answer is never a dead end.

Revision history

Articles are versioned. When facts change, the article shows when it was last reviewed and what changed.

Offline-first design intent

Core field content is designed to remain useful when signal disappears. Downloadable field packs and full offline caching are planned; today's status is labelled honestly per feature.

Feature transparency

We label every feature honestly. Some modules are live today, others are in beta, and several are planned. If a page shows an evidence badge or "planned" tag, that is our commitment to not overstate what is shipped.
