This program tracks Darren’s 2005 Astro from first sketch → planning → validation → fabrication → inspection → shakedown → expedition → long-term maintenance → future revisions. Every measurement, decision, change, test result, failure, and outcome stays attached to the vehicle. This build contributes to the permanent Atlas engineering archive.

Darren’s 2005 Astro SFA conversion is a proposed program, not a completed build. Nothing on this page has been fabricated or road-tested. Treat every dimension, part number, wiring pin, and torque value as verify before fabrication unless it links to an identified source.

This is not a bolt-on kit guide

Custom fabrication of structural, steering, and brake components is safety-critical. Do not rely on any single article as engineering. Independent review by a qualified fabricator or engineer is required before final welding.
